Haha yeah… I was just giving a rare senerio… but you know… there’s always that one freak accident .1% chance.

where did u get those?
you can get them from summit racing or jegs
they’re called either remote battery terminals or remote jumper terminals.
why would you want to relocate a batter closer to the engine where it will probably get hotter?
doesn’t seem like a sensible solution. a relocation to me is moving it to the trunk.
What would you guys think about getting the PC680MJ? The batteries with the MJ in the code are made for locations near areas of high heat such as the ex. mani. I was thinking about buying this kit and have been giving it a lot of thought. I like the idea of mounting it on the outside of the fender too btw, looks very clean.
Behind the bumper looks clean but how does it look when you have the wires from the harness ran to them?
Having it in the engine bay might have the wiring look better or mounting those terminals in a different spot. (frame rail maybe)
Just throwing it out there.
if i did it like that pic i would have those two just chillin there for easy access in case i ever needed a jump and run the rest of the harness through another lower hole out of sight
nvm
The MJ= metal jacket the only difference is the metal sleeve that comes with the PC680MJ & it comes with brass terminals. I have had the PC680MJ in my Teg for almost 3yrs. I have had mine swapped out twice under warrenty. My Integra does not get driven much & if I leave the battery connected for very long without a charge it kills it.
I found this site while searching for something about the PC680 & these batteries look to me the same thing but much cheaper.

I have never delt with them but the prices are good.
Also if your interested in AGM batteries instead of SLA the Shuriken batterys by Metra are pretty nice I just got one for a friend of mine & he has had no problem with it.

I just emailed odyssey asking about how the 680 does with a mild sound system. Just waiting for a reply. I have a battery kill as well, would that help prevent it from getting drained when parked? I’ll be driving the DA just about everyday (spring/summer/fall) when it’s finished and it’ll have a higher output alternator.
I have an Optima red I got as a gift, but I hate how big it is.e
