i belive they are just called pumps and you can get them at an auto parts store for about 18$ a peice i think
usually called hood or trunk shocks.
hydraulic lifters…or shocks…
yeah just plain hatch shocks. saw them in autozone before.
Re: hatch
-hatch shocks
-hatch struts
-pneumatic struts
-gas charged lift supports
Monroe makes some replacement ones called Max-lift.
A discussion by crx owners shows what brick and mortar stores they found them in (I haven’t verified their findings for integras though):

I bought replacement ones from a website called http://www.matchalift.com/main.asp
I would NOT recommended the Match-A-Lift product for several reasons:
-
Non-oem style bolts and strut nuts.
Their brand of replacement struts do NOT bolt on. You have to change the connecting bolts in order for their version of the strut socket to work, and its a pain in the tuckus to do. The replacement bolts are included and are of a ball and socket type. I only replaced the bolts that attach the strut to the body of the car. The existing bolt on the hatch wouldn’t come off, so I stuck the socket of the new hatch strut over the threaded bolt on the hatch. The socket wrapped around the bolt fine, and there are no problems with the plastic socket breaking or cracking in the one month I’ve had them on. -
Price.
Their price, including shipping, cost $65 (US dollars). After I received my purchase I found them for much cheaper, but right now I can’t remember what web site it was. If I find it I’ll post again. -
Hatch squeak.
A NEW hatch squeak was introduced with the arms. I’ve tightened the aftermarket bolt that attaches to the body, which has reduced the noise. I’m going to have someone else drive the teg around while I listen and look in the back to see if it really is the new hatch parts making the squeaking.
New hatch struts are great. Sometimes when I’m parked on an incline and I release the hatch, the hatch lifts itself! No more guillotine effect!
Hatch struts or hatch supports…
thanks alot guys
ok, i’m wrong…sorry… They look and act like pumps tho! but i have seen them in autozone also.
