I’ve been have problems with ilding for a couple of weeks. Its weird because it doesnt always do it, But its been more frequent lately…usually happens when I come to a stop (at a light )
The idle drops almost to the point where it is going to stall out, then it bounces back to normal, then immediately back down, then normal, then down. You get the point. After a minute or so it idles normal (until i stop at the next light):mad: Does anybody have any ideas???
Well that is what my did for awhile before i went through three kinds of hell with the coil dist and ignitor problems…YOu might want to do a check on the search within the message board and type in coil and such and see if some of the threads in the past may give you some help…
Try replacing the thermostat and PCV valve before anything too expensive first… its been a known problem that either of those 2 parts, worn out, can cause a “lopey” idle. Cheap stuff first!
