Hazards don't work

Hey guys, I have a problem. I am finishing up my 93 Integra build and and have been clearing up electrical problems left and right because I bought it as a stripped shell. I’m down to just a few more problems and this is one.

My hazards will not work, although the signals work fine. I have tested the switch for power in/out and it’s fine. Prior to that, I swapped switches and that made no difference either. Does the hazard switch share a relay with the turn signals or is it separate? I should also mention that I have the JDM headlights installed and that the corner signals are not plugged in to anything. Does any of this strike a chord with someone? Thanks!

If signal lights work, everything after the hazard switch is good, the signal lights and hazard lights use the same relay/flasher, [it is after the hazard switch].

Sounds to me like there is no power for the hazard lights, all the hazard light switch does is switch power from the signal light fuse, fuse 1 - 10A, [hot in run and start] in under dash fuse box to the hazard lights fuse, fuse 34 - 10A, [hot at all times] in under dash fuse box, [sorry, don’t know which fuse is hazard fuse in USDM G2s] the switch also connects and parallels the left and right side wiring.

So the first thing I would check is for power on the white/green lead at the hazard switch, [hazard light power into switch. 94

I’ll get back out there and check it when I can. I’m in the midst of finals here at school and the car is at my parents’ house. I’ll update my situation when I can. Thanks!

my 91 has a dedicated fuse for the hazards that is physically attached to the positive battery terminal. i dont know if its different for 93s, or if youve used only year 93 parts in your rebuild, but you could have an obd0 era battery cable with that fuse in it, AND have an obd1 under hood fuse box (which seems to also have a hazard fuse, from what im gathering in the Haynes manual)

anyhow, check the battery terminal, that fuse my be kaput.

e: i see you tested the switch, was it outside of the car or was it still installed?

It was in the car. I turned the key to on and tested two wires that someone had referenced in another thread I ran across. I didn’t have the Helms diagrams yet at that point and I was trying to solve a separate problem (one turn signal wasn’t working) at the time.

Solved this problem. There was no power to the WHT/GRN wire. Ran it to the underhood box and now we are golden!
