I put the skunk2 on my B18c1 and the factory intake tube fits perfect like stock. As far as performance gains you only really see it at the 5-6500 rpm range I think the factory intake would work better for all around full range performance unless you do all the other mods to go with it. Hi Guys…Was wonderign if you guys do much hybrids of the b16a head with the b18c blocks much in the States…Over here in Malaysia its a real trend…obviously the b20 is gaining its popularity but I much rather go with the b18c block…usually we source for the b18c Type R block and hybrid it with the existing b16a head we have…the b18c GSR head is not that popular here due to the different intake design

But in a G2 the intake pipeing wont fit (i have an AEM short ram), so that would be the reason to get a Skunk2 or could i just use my manifold off of my my G2 also can i use my TB off the G2 because the GSR has the dual butterfly setup

all different manifolds, none of which are interchangeable with any of the other applications.
Over hear the b18c GSR heads are not much sought after…those who wanna mod their cars usually swap the heads straight away…reason is coz over here we don’t get manay of the aftermarket intakes designed for the GSR head…over in the States u must have many…
I reckon most of the G2 u have come with the ZC engine am I right which u call the LS? Over here we get the JDMs which are usually with the 1st gen b16a

no, we don’t get the zc motors, we get b18a and a1’s. the gsr’s come with the b17a which is pretty much the same as the b16 you get.
ok this might be a dumb question but which would produce more power a B16a or an Ls/Vtec, i know the Ls/Vtec is less reliable and seems it would have more torque, but does the B16 put out more Hp. Thanks for any help
all i can tell you is start searching. there is going to be more lsvtec stuff on this site than anything else as far as motors go.

u must have quite a following of the g2 over there…here sad to say its a rare item…even if u find one its most probably a stock one with little to none mods done to it…
they do resemble a zc from the top, so don’t feel stupid for thinking that. yes there is quite the following over here as they are more common than over there i would imagine. good to see an active member from far off lands such as yours ![]()
haha…thanks for the consolation…its quite a pain here coz its just too difficult to find members with the DA…well i have been to this forum long time a go but just did not register…didn’t think i could lol…here the most common Honda is the Civic. We have many fast cars here too but i think we aren’t up to the wildest in the states…mainly still NA…not many turbos being built yet…there are but they are rare…
