ok so i took my red 92 ls to get inspected yesterday and everything passed except my drivers side head light isnt bright enough. So i switched out the bulb with a new one and its still no brighter than before. So then i checked the ground to make sure it was completely grounded and its still the same. I have no idea what is wrong.
Anyone got any ideas?? i need to get this figured out quick.
Things to check are 1st make sure the harness wires are not corroded, 2nd make sure all grounds are clean especially on the passenger side because when the wire was bad on the pass both lights dont work.
thanks man, ive already checked both harnesses and all the grounds and everything is good. I guess im gonna try and buff the lense to get it as clear as possible. The inspection station puts a machine in front of the car and it tells you if theyre bright enough. idk how far under spec it is but if buffing it doesnt work then ill be forced to buy a new headlight assembly and i really dont want to, and ive changed the bulbs and that didnt do anything either.
