i have jdm 1 pieces on my shell. i put jumper cables from my battery that was hooked up. to my other car. i wanted to make sure everything electrical work. and everything did besides the headlights. the fogs were on when i turned on the lights but the headlights werent. and on the guage cluster it said the brights were on but i couldnt turn them off. any suggestions?
backprob the lights and see if theres power going to them
this might sound dumb but how do you do that?
get a multimeter (this things that show voltage and stuff) set it to voltage or get a test light, and ground one wire from the multimeter (neg on battery works) then with other wire touch that to one of the contacts on the bulb connector. if i remember correctly the high and low is the same bulb so theres 3 connections. one will be ground. you should get no reading. the other should give you a reading when highs on then the other should give a reading when the lows are on. that will tell you if there is power coming to the headlights
