Headlights and turnsignals won't come on, Please advise

Hey people, I was in the process of getting my da back on the road after over a year of sitting, and during that time i have only done two things that involved wiring at all.
One, a wire tuck, and Two, converted over to OBD1 for the purpose of running a hondata s300.
I have power running to all other lights and acc. working fine, have checked all major grounds, and all fuses have been pulled and checked, and are ok.
I cannot think of anything but a possible fried turn signal switch, but could use some suggestions from anyone who might have an idea of why niether my headlights (hid 8000k) or turn signals will not turn on.
Heeeeeeelllllllppp!

Update: i got the turn signals to work, there must be an infamous hidden ground in the cluster switches because i plugged them in (dash is out) and bam. However, still no headlights. Foglights, running lights, but no hids…
To those that viewed this, thanks for taking a look. Again, any advice would be appreciated from those who may have had this issue, And/or electric gurus…fcm? you out there?

Wow. not one person in the g2ic family has any advice? I am dissapoint…=D

If i recall there is like 5 grounds per side in like a little plastic box as those grounded good?

A very good question, thank you sir. Yes, there is, and i went through them with a circut tester, even re-sanded the area that the plastic ground(s) bolt to…Only thing i haven’t done is run power from the batt to the Hid’s yet. I’m leaning towards a fried turn signal switch, But as i said, eeevrything else works hazards, turnsignals, parking lights, even fogs, just nothing for headlights?! (I is baffled)

Get a multimeter and test for power at the headlight plug, if you haven’t done that.

Try stock bulbs to see if it is the HID or not.

Mike, Good frickin idea, thank you…will do tomm…it’s too late for a sears run on the east side-
This is probably a dumb question, but wouldn’t i be able to see if it’s getting power just using the tester light?

there is also a ground on the inside under the dash one on each side check that if you need a switch let me know also

Tester light will show power, but multimeter will show how much power the headlight plug is getting.

If voltage is weak, it may not be enough to turn on the HID ballast since they require a good amount of power to fire up.

So if you try using stock bulbs, you can at least see if your headlights do work.

Hmm, both sides you say? i don’t recall seeing one on the pass side…I’ll check that out, thanks! Do you mean right above the seat belt sensor thingamajig??

Ahh, now i get it, Thank you sir- Well do.

Old, but still useful:

A test light will light up under power, but wont tell you if you are getting the proper voltage and amps. With a multimeter, you can start at the component taking readings, and work your way backwards until you find the component that is not functioning properly.

Of course there are test lights you can get that light up an LED instead of a bulb, but that still doesn’t tell you how much voltage a wire has.

Checking it out, now…Thanks again for the insight Mike,

i will try an take a pic tomorrow as my dash is out

Ok cool, Thanks for the help man. And i’ll keep you in mind for that switch as well

gonna follow suit with the wattage to the HIDs, if they dont get enough they will not turn on. the HIDs use less watts and way more volts, but thats what the ballasts are for. plug in stock bulbs with the ballasts unplugged.

Excellent advice dcateg, thanks- gonna get on that today after work…Will update soon!
