I was driving my DA this evening and was thinking about my project. I thought I would not need foglights but I love the way it look when they’re indepedantely on. (When only foglights are on.)
Here’s my idea: Putting my low beam in the foglight place. To do this, I will connect the lowbeam wire on the foglight socket. If needed, retrofit another socket to have the power I need. I’ll for sure take out the glare guard in the foglight lense.
For the Highbeam, I’ll see if I can find a projector that work only on High Beam and retrofit in the headlight housing.
Any thoughts about this?
IDK I am not understanding this. If you like how it looks with just the fogs, why not run 55w white bulbs in your fogs, turn them on with JUST the parking lights and use them as headlights? If you got 55w it would be brighter than the headlights, and taking out the glare guards is simple. You dont even have to bake them.
I’ll think about the 55w w/o glare guard in the fog…
What I want to do, Is to replace my foglight by my lowbeam and put projector in the headlight housing for highbeam.
Yea but thats OD though…like Bacardi said, just turn on your parking lights with 55w fogs and you’ll still get your taillights and front corners…then if you want retrofit some projectors to use as normal headlights/highbeams
