Headlights not working

I have a Aussie spec DA9 with headlights that are similar to the JDM 1 pieces, only difference is we have a H1 high beam light where the JDM fogs are as well as the standard H4H bulb in the main housing.

I get nothing when i switch the headlights to the on position. Parker lights, tail lights all work at the first position and no issues with indicators etc. High beams will also come on (all 4 globes) when I pull the stalk back but only a flash- goes off again when I release.

I’m thinking its either the relay or the switch- any suggestions or ideas before I go replacing things?

I think it’s the combination switch. Can you swap it out with a known good one? You can try disassembling it to see if any contact points are bad, but it’s really complicated in there if I remember correctly.
