nobody seems to be certain what exactly the cr on the jdm b20b’s really are (or whether there are different ones), but the #'s i’ve seen online range anywhere from 160 -> 200+ psi’s.
I think the technique and the brand of gauge used makes a big diff. Using 7 cranks at WOT with a warm engine i got 185’s with one gauge and 200’s with my other brand ('96 jdm b20b).
I’d say the c5 should be in the 230 psi range.
What numbers do you have?

what numbers do people get on their LS’s? just for reference…

i got 172 on my 147k mile LS block.
i don’t know my other numbers yet, but just want a reference so when i check them i’ll know if it’s healthy.
When I did a comp. check, I got 210 all the way across… If i remember right, the car was warm… but I don’t know what the quality of the gauge was… but I was pretty happy with it… oh ya… its a 96 b20b too…

hey dev, was that a jdm b20b or usdM?
Our stock B18A is suppose to yield 184psi. stock. I think the B18C5 is suppose to be around 220psi.
