You live in Florida? Has the car been submerged in salt water for any amount of time ?

no i think its heat from the engine but i dont know where its coming from

hole in the firewall? heater fan staying on?

2 things…most heat comes from engine…and two down where u put ur foot close to the petals theres a little hole in the car metal under the carpet but yeah so all the engine smells and fumes get in throught the carpet especially if the carpet is pulled up a little
