Anyone know what would cause my heater /ac fan controller to only work on the top 2 settings and the hot cold dial seems to be pretty inaccurate.

When the 2 high settings only work, its probably your blower resistor. If you remove your glove box its attached to the top of the blower motor with 2 screws. You can take it out and see if its broken. Just test for resistance between the high and low settings or look if the coils are broken. You can get a new one from acura for about 15-20 bucks.
