Dash has to come out to replace heater core. While its out, are there any common problems I should address? Better to do it all at once. I’m replacing my climate control, heater core, and blower. Gonna clean out debris as well. Just didn’t know if there’s any.common issue that I could address now instead of waiting for it to become a real issue and have to remove the dash again. Thanks for any help!
Make sure all “doors” in heater box are working properly, [nothing binding].
Make sure firewall seal, [at heater core pipes] is in good shape.
Other then the heater core, the above are about the only other things that can be bad, [that requier pulling dash]. 94
