I just wanted to make myself known here and say hello to y’all before asking dumb questions. I’m thoroughly enjoying this rig and may hit up the autocross circuit this coming year. This year has just eaten up my time with my 3rd and LAST child. I finally got tired of driving my CR-V and just said “screw it” and buying something fun. I kind of took on a couple problems from the previous owner, but think I found them and actually paid a few hundred to figure out. I don’t like paying for mechanics, but we have a PHENOMENAL Honda Motor Co. group here in the treasure valley ID who knows his craft. I ended up just throwing it at him and he took care of all the electrical gremlins with only 3 hours of shop time in it. He also gave me a CRAZY detailed bunch of things to go after when time and money permits. I MAY try to do a swap with either a B20 or GSR in it later on down the road with forced induction in mind, but I may just keep this LS motor until she blows and rebuild the crap out of it with performance and a small turbo. We’ll see, but that is hopefully at least 30k miles ahead of me.
Thanks for looking and hope to be a bigger part of the forum soon.
