Hi All,
I have not used my integ for awhile, but now i want to start using. My car would not crank. I replaced the battery and starter. Couple of times the engine would crank, but now it wont now? I resaudered the main fuel relay and still wont crank. When i turn the key, I dont hear the fuel pump making a noise.
What could it be? Starter relay? I talked to an auto shop and he said if the main fuel relay is bad, it should still crank.
i just disconnected the car alarm and it is now cracking but i still dont hear the fuel pump turning on. any suggestions??
Where is the fuel filter and how to do you take it out? Anybody have pics?
Is there any power to the dash when the key is turned? I would see about checking the fuses. It might also be something else but it would help if you wore a little more clear and added as much detail as possible.
And the filter will be on the fire wall on the passenger side,it will have 2 fuel lines bolted to the top of it.
You might also try disconnecting the cat and see if it solves the problem
I disconnected the hoses from the fuel filter, and no fuel is coming out when i try to crank the engine. I already replaced the fuel relay and dont hear the fuel pump turning on when i turn the key. looks like its the fuel pump
Well dose the relay click at all? If so,its the pump. Hope you get it fixed,let us know the outcome. GL
