Hey guys, I’m trying to lower the car a little more, but I’m used to Ground Control coilovers. This car has Maxspeed, and it has 2 rings. How exactly do I adjust it? When I try adjusting the top one, the whole assembly spins (the spiral that the ring turns on). I tried holding it, but it keeps spinning. Is the lower ring used for anything, or is it just a support? Any, and all help is very much appreciated!

Both rings are supposed to spin and adjust, did the kit come with keys to turn them with? The treads on the collar get dirty after time and is a real bitch to break loose, just use a lot of muscle power and leverage. If u dont have those 2 keys, ur screwed, its gonna be a bitch since u have no grip w/o them.

The 2 keyes act as counter resistance when u twist them in the opposite direction, I believe the sleeves move up as u twist clockwise and vice versa if u go counter-clockwise, try getting the top key set in a position to turn up and the bottom key positioned to turn down, get it where u can grab both keyes and squeeze them towards each other, that is how I did it and it loosened the top and bottom, from there on once its loose, just twist back and forth to remove the excess dirt on the collar…good luck
