My engine ticks pretty loudly. I had the timing belt changed and a valve job done recently to get rid of the ticking but it didnt really help. I read in Sport Compact Car a long time ago something about a problem with the G2 Teg that this was a common problem and the head bolts needed to be updated or something. If anyone knows anything about this let me know. Thanks y’all.

first beware of the very loud fuel injector “wap” of the b-series motor------second, did the vavle job include adjusting the clearance…im sure it had too, but if not…i would take a couple hours of my life to adjust my vavles
It’s a '90 LS by the way. Has anyone heard about these head bolts?
