I replaced the clutch/pressure plate/throwout & pilot bearings a year ago, trying to solve the high clutch point. Currently have the stock GS YS1 Cable Transmission; It never resolved the issue. My Clutch Bite point is right before my foot lets go of the pedal. I have tried adjusting the Transmission Cable and am planning to replace the Cable itself next week.
I am going to swap a new motor in and wanted to see if I needed to replace the clutch/pressure plate/throwout & pilot bearings again to get my engagement point lower to the floor.
Any Ideas?!?
Thanks!

Have you adjusted the nut behind the clutch pedal itself?
Yeah having it tight all the way down makes the pedal bite from up top like you described.
All loose and up make the pedal bite from deep in the firewall, just the way I like it.
I just adjusted the pedal and the cable and now it bites right after the firewall.
Thanks for the responses!!
