U want to remove the linkage from the tranny?
If so, you need to slip that rubber boot back, pop off the c-clip, and with an air-hammer, punch out the little spring pin. I say use air, because that b*tch is in there so tight … I have tried to pound two out, and never been successful without air :(.
Otherwise, at the other end of the linkage, there is 1 bolt to remove, and it drops down …
HTH.
Kinda, I want to leave the little peice there, I just need to replace the linkage itself that is it, is there any way to rmove it? thanks man
Chris
Hehe, I wish man … :(
… that is all 1 piece, you have to replace the entire shift rod with that end piece attached.
It was $70 CDN from Honda up here … so I am guessing $50 or so for you.
I am consfused, I bought the linkage from a guy, but all I got was that part, not the little peice, how did he do that, man this sucks I need my car on monday:(
I guess if you had to, you could grind/drill off the pin there, and use a bolt for your linkage you have.
Why do you need a new linkage? Is that your car in the pics?

This is why, it broke:( i may try thr grinding thing. thanks man
THis is what I have
any help?
lol … u slept with it? ![]()
How much did you pay for that?
Only suggestion I got is the grinding/bolt method hehe.
