I need some input guys. A person I met has for sale a totaled Aztec 92 integra GS-R, 250k motor got OEM rebuild at 185k, car is mostly stock minus fat fives and and rs-r exhaust, the car got in front end crash, its stove up, enuff that on drivers side, the post under the fender windsheld to bumpersupport, it cracked the windsheld, so i cant just cut the front support and replace, also he spun and broke where the Rear lower contol arm connects underneath on the passenger side and it got a big dent ubove the wheel well on that side as well…ALL being said the shell is toast, all done, it could probably be saved by a body shop but im not one so the shell will be trashed or sold…The b17a1 is all intact as well as the cable trans, and starts right up still, the car still rolls would probably drive, The interior is cloth all intact and mint no rips, all 4 fat fives are ok. That all being said the swap and every other part can be saved, i own a gsr that needs a few things to be original so i do need the car for those parts. my question is, he wants $900.oo for the car is that too high of a price??
i will try to get a pic but i may no be able to for a few days thats why i gave a summary of condition, please help guys is 900 too much what would be a good price i wanna pay 500 thats what i paid for a b16 delsol in same condition and miles, i sold it for 900 so im thinking 900 is not too bad right? any help would be great i want this car bad but dont wanna get burned im 28 and newly a homeowner so money is tight… tell me is 900$ for a crashed 92 gsr too much money???
So not worth it. I wouldn’t pay more then 100 bucks and scrap that s##t IMO.
y 100? it got the 1.7 and rsr exhaust plus mint interior id say 5-600
Yeah, I’d say 500-700 would be a good price for it. Minty interior, cable trans, engine, and RS-R exhaust are the plusses from what I can imagine.
Yeah i would pay $500-$700
GUYS AWSOME INPUT!!!.., thanks so much for this, and KEEP IT COMING I WANT SOME OG’s INPUT, Almansteg where ya at?? i will show this thread to him so he knows im not full of it when i say 600 is going rate (if there is such a thing), he doesnt know too much about cars, but he has became a friend through the situation so he will be learning alot from me, and you guys. He acually is in some trouble concerning the crash so he deff. needs all the cash he can get, but i dont wanna get burned on the deal im thinking 775 at the most mabie 800 if i gotta but no more than 800 IDK i really wanna make a “4door GS-R” for the wife and need a good amount of the parts, IDK these cars are like a drug for me i gotta have my shit LOL, thanks alot guys and girls
id say 750 and seal the deal. take whatever parts you need and see if someone would want to save a gs-r shell to make somewhat of a profit from it. just an idea, but wish i had a deal like that but theres no db2’s here.
yea thats why im jumping on it and willing to pay a bit much and its right up the street from me. what are the chances of that? i thought id never get the parts to finish my gsr resto
Offer him 600 - he’ll refuse. Then settle on $750.
I wouldn’t pay 900… sure it’s got the engine, tranny and exhaust, but taking all of that apart on a totaled car is going to be some work… not to mention the fact that you’re going to have to get rid of the shell after.
The work i have to do is not so much a concern im gonna scrap the metal, but i am thinking 800 is as high as ill go 750 would be fair, he just bought the car at the end of last summer so he real sour about the crash, kbb the thing and its worth 250 so idk i am gonna get the car either way, but i just wanted to here what you guys thought, thanks for the input more will be appreciated…

got it minus motor $150.00 bucks
Interior goodies, RS*R and Fat5s for $150?
Not a bad deal man.
Not bad. At least you got the interior. Is it a 5 speed? I’m looking for 5 speed parts right now
They’re all 5 speeds
not a bad deal for $150.
Yeah that was obvious to me after I posted, but I was too lazy to change it haha
Nice man. You will be able to make alot of G back with the parts you dont use. You know them civic guys love the rear brake swaps. Tail lights and wing can go for a good buck too. Glad you jumped on it.
R1
