I keep blowing the 80A fuse for the battery i was hooking my motor back up because i had just done a swap had the lights on, they were working then i went to get in my car to feel the clutch to check the cable adjustments i just had done on it and as soon as i put the clutch in the fuse blew and ive been having that problem ever since went through about 4 fuse so far i cant figure out what it is :bang:
it’s shorting somewhere. either in the footwell, pedal cluster area (most likely), or somewhere along where the clutch cable might touch and move something. should be easy to find. it’ll be brown and crispy
i think it might be because i didnt have the altenator hooked up and the cable had touched the engine block and grounded it and shorted it out i dunno i will throw a new fuse in it in the morning…im almost postive this is what happened because i forgot i left the wire on top of the clutch cable then when i pressed the clutch in it got grounded to the block the shorted it out…will that cause it to happen?
most definitely
