Ok so just want to see if this is a problem that maybe someones had before or could point me in the right direction. Lately I’ve been hearing like creaking noises or lil rattle/knocking noises coming from the back usually when turning right or little cracks in the road. Sound like its mostly coming from the rear driver side corner…
I have brand new function n form coilovers on with brand new yonaka rear control arms w/ polyurethane bushings like a month old. When I push down on both back sides constantly it doesn’t make any noises and is stiff. Could it be the hatch maybe not shutting 100% or what n causing it to like vibrate/move up n down slightly or something?
The noise is driving me nuts. Help me out! thanks.
i had a similar noise, that i THOUGHT was coming from the back squeaking rattle annoying ass noise !!!
come to find out it was actually up front…the carpet was pulled back a little on the front pass side and there was a plastic piece up by the door frame and it was rubbing against some metal…i basically just pushed it back and put the carpet back to normal and the noise went away…
i dont know if this is your problem or not, just thought i would throw it out there…
like i said i thought the noise was comming from the passanger rear of the car like in the trunk area…but it really wasnt…
Its so annoying, n frustrating. I’m prob going to get someone to drive my car while I sit in the back n see if I can find where it’s coming from. Hopefully it’s not the new suspension and just the plastic pieces making some kinda noise.
You recently replaced your suspension? I got that same noise last time I replaced mine (still have it, 1.5 months after the install, and ditto for my dad’s 96 Integra- he drove it until it went away.)
I think the suspension needs to settle. You noticed initially that your ride height was higher than it is right now.
I wouldn’t worry about it.
Do correct me if I’m wrong though, just my 2 cents.
[QUOTE=92hondaintegra;2177220]I did this it’s still making the noise.

Try hockey tape instead.
You mentioned polyurethane bushings… that could be it too.
Do your coilovers have solid pillowball mounts? That could be it as well. I’m putting my money on the pillowball mounts. I’ve had them before with my k-sports and my rear made the same creaky, squeaky, cracking sound.
I’ll try hockey tape tomorrow, haven’t really looked into it lately been busy with work. But I noticed it almost always goes away when the car is cold, say like early mornings don’t hear the noise compared to when its warm out its constantly making the noise? wtf? lol
