ok so I found this steering wheel on my buddys civic shell and noticed it had an “Integra” center piece on the steering wheel, i thought it was a jdm DA steering wheel but I havent found this steering wheel anywhere. Sorry for the crap picture, the steering wheel is a bit dirty.
the center cap is a jdm pieces as it says integra an U.S. ones say acura the wheel is just a 92/93 looks like rs model wheel as i dont see cruise control but it is leather wrap so it could be jdm as it a leather wrap rs wheel?
I believe its a first gen Integra steering wheel
It’s a JDM 1993-1995ish steering wheel. You know, the 3rd gen with the double circle headlights before they switched to the “JDM front”.
P.S. I have one of these on my car. Mine came off of a DC1 (the base model ZC powered Integra).
P.P.S. All JDM Integra steering wheels that I have seen do not have cruise control, and most (other than a very few of the Type-R’s) don’t have airbags either.
I also have the same steering wheel. I was told that it was from a 3rd gen Integra SIR. As stated above by Phat, it’s the JDM Integra with the beady headlights.
It’s the same diameter of the original ones that came in our cars, just a little fatter, leather wrapped and no cruse control buttons. It comes with the “Integra” center.
I have a picture of my original steering wheel and the one in question, side by side.
I’ll throw it up when I get home.
Warnning, my horn no longer works with the steering wheel anymore.
thanks everybody for their .02 cents

yeah my horn doesnt work either, was tryin to figure out how it would work but gave up lol but please show me the pictures and how did you get yours to fit on the hub?
I got my horn to work. I just had to bend the contact piece a little to make it hit the ring on the back of the steering wheel right. I do have a RS though, so I didn’t have the extra cruise control mess to deal with. I’m sure if you switch the piece behind the steering wheel to the one with a single contact from a RS that it would make it easier.
sorry i was wrong on my info but yea now that it was said about being third gen that it is i was mixed up
I might just have to do just that, thanks man. How do you like it?
Aha its cool, not everybody is a genius but thanks. I actually never would of guessed it was a 3rd gen wheel.
This is all I could find, looking really quickly. I’ll see if I can find any close up of where the wheel connects to the steering column.

wanna trade? lol i wonder if theres anything i can use to restore my wheel and make it look that clean. compared to our stock wheels, the 3rd gen wheel doesnt attach on all the way down to the steering column, dont know how to say it but i think you should know.
I think it is thicker/taller where it bolts on or something to that extent. You have to be careful to make sure the slot is lined up right on the piece behind it that is attached to the steering lock mechanism, but there are plenty of threads still to bolt it down securely. I’ve had mine for like 3-4 years and love it. It’s the only stock Honda/Acura wheel that I really like, and the other aftermarket wheels that I have tried before all felt too light weight and almost cheap feeling with my manual steering rack (I’ve had nice Momo, Black Racing, and other JDM wheels on my car and still like the feel of this wheel better).
Nice. Is this a plug-in for the horn? Maybe tap the crusie control to it?
Umm… what? Are you suggesting removing the horn in favor of cruise control? Have you never removed a steering wheel before? Did you miss the conversation about the horn in the posts above you?
Yes I have removed a steering wheel but not with cruise control. Your post was a little confusing since I’m not sure what contact piece from either wheel you are speaking of.
It’s all obvious when you pull a steering wheel off. When you pull off the wheel, on the car there is a ring with gold colored electrical contacts sticking up. There are three contacts on a cruise control car and a single one on a car without cruise. These have to make contact with the corresponding rings on the back of the steering wheel. You can mount a lot of different style Honda/Acura wheels on the car whether cruise or non, but the contact(s) may or may not line up correctly for the horn and/or cruise to function. In the case of our cars with this wheel, the easiest way to get the horn to work is to get the piece with the single contact off of a RS and even then, I had to bend the contact some to get it to work. If you want cruise control with a wheel that doesn’t have the buttons, the easiest thing would be to wire it up to switches in the dash.
