Help me with my dents!

I’ve got about 3 minor hood dents on the raised part, my friend told me to use a ball point hammer but i don’t wanna bust anything. What have you guys used to fix hood dents?

I also ordered my suspension set up today, AGX front shocks and Tokico blues in the rear and an Eibach pro kit. How hard is it to install the springs into aftermarket shocks (i got a helmes so no need to worry about installation into car). What tools do i need? A spring decompressor right, and what else?

ummm… not sure if im gonna get bombed on by some ‘safety first’ peeps but, you dont need a spring decompressor.

Theres the wedged between 2 tires trick, or the wrapped in towel with liesure hole for the allen.

Tried and true, ghetto fabulous!

you’ll probably just have to bondo over the dents in the hood. Chances are the frame on the bottom will prvent you from being able to hammer them out… but you can try. You can also try a uni-spotter. All this will depend on how big the dents are. You may also want to call your local paintless dent removal place, i’ve heard those guys can do pretty good work.

as DA1.6 said, you don’t need a spring compressor. For the SUPER safe way to do it read the teg tip (email me if you have any questions). I’ve even decompressed G2 springs w/ an impact gun and simply put a foot on the spring to keep it in place. Still pretty damn safe… just use common sense. Other than that you won’t need any specific tools, just the basics, and some time. Typically the first time you do the job it takes quite awhile, and often times you’ll come upon quite a few mishaps that take up a lot of time.

Thanks for the help guys, yea i thought of callin up a dent removal place and havin them fix it if the price isn’t too bad. Can’t wait to get those new shocks and springs in, the car was defenitely ridin rough with the rain tonight.
