HELP on koni yellows and H&R race and Ingalls camber

Today we tried to install koni yellows with H&R race springs and ingalls camber. we only tried it on the front, because ran out of time to do the back.
this is what happened: the car went so high in height, that it was higher then stock! i cant picture what went wrong, but after we put back the ractive springs i used to have on the car and it went back to the low position how it use to be.
did anyone ever had that problem? and i cant think of what could it be? either these are the wrong springs? but i matched the code on them with the code that H&R has on their website, so they are race springs for G2. i am really upset, because i had to put back the ractives with my new koni yellows, which i did not want to do at all.
any suggestions? please help me with that.
thanks

2 things.

  1. the konis have an different perches, but you probably noticed that.

  2. Your old springs haven’t fully uncompressed yet, the H&Rs will probably settle after a day or two. Haven’t you noticed that when you jack up your car for several hours, when you let it back down it sits higher?

I suggest putting on the H&Rs and driving it around for a day or two before you decide it’s too high, they will settle.

man… it was brutally high. the gap was around 2.5 "
i could put a whole fist and a finger in betweeen. they not gonna settle down that much. they will maybe 0.5 inch at the most.
the only reason that bugs me is that the code on the springs is
50142.88 and on the h&r website the code is 50142-88.
could it be the fake springs or something?
like on my springs it says H&R 10/99, the over one coild it says that code with the F on the fronts and the R on the rears.

mein integra posted this in the install screw up thread…

Put rear shock in facing wrong direction. Car wouldn’t settle to correct ride height.

double check them.

what do you suggest me to double check?
