help one piece headlights horrible fitment

i got my jdm one piece headlights in today and was so excited i had to install them. once i get them installed i put my bumper back on and noticed that where the inside of the headlights dont sit flush with the bumper but the outsides do. im thnking there maybe a problem with the support. but any help would be great.

are you running factory front bumper support? did they heat your bumpe while painting(drying)? did the bumper sit out through weather changes?

CMON you gotta adjust that bumper and support and if it dont line up hone the holes out just a little to give your self some play

Thats the thing though, it looks pretty good on the side just not in the center. deffinatly fill us in when you find out the problem!

did you try adjusting the bumper?

is that an o.e.m. bumper cover AND support? or aftermarket jobber? also your rad support could be bent somewhere in the middle lifting your lights like that and making the bracket stretch like that… these lights should fit perfectly on a clean rad support that hasnt been banged up before.

Its hard to tell but in the first pic does apper to have a sligh bow as if it was pushed in which might do that. it looks strait from the side in the last picture but that might also explian why the the headlight mounting tap is bent out of place.

I hope this is not the case for you due to the obvius new paint job.

It’s is a stock bumper and support off a 92. The car is a 91 and I know that doesn’t make a difference. The bumpers have been kept in a garage besides transportation. The bumper is all the way up in the adjustment holes .The bumper fits great without the headlights and in the corners with the headlights installed which you see in the pictures. I think its the middle support but I haven’t had time to mess with it since yesterday. I will be messing with it tonite and maybe see if I can get my friend ls/vtecstitch to come over and look at it also.

so i figured out the problem the support was pushed up making the headlights off. im not to happy with why its pushed up because i just had the car painted but at least i know the problem. it looks like someone messed up and jacked up on the radiator support instead of the front crossmember and its pushed up about an inch. im not sure what i should do if i should just drill a new hole and leave it messed up on the bottem or get a whole new front end?

heres with the bottem just unbolted and the top support pushed down to make the headlights fit correctly.

is it a after market bumper n do you have the lil trim that goes between the bumper n under the lights

i would just drill a new hole. everything lines up good now so why go through all that trouble when in the end it might not line up once again.
