For some reason my trunk light turns on when i open my door instead of only turning on when the trunk is open, has anybody had this problem? i thought the trunk was open but i opened and closed it and it was still on? when i closed the door it stopped lighting, but when i open the door the trunk light again turns on, with the door open light also

It's a fuse in the driver's kickpanel (#20-22 or something). Check them out and replace it. This happened to me and I thought the ECU was fried. It's because on that particular circuit, there's a diode to stop the current in the one direction or something. With the fuse blow, a few circuits come together by default with the one being blown.
Just trust me on this one and check all your interior fuses.

btw… it could also be a shorted or bad pin switch but I doubt it…
