i know this sounds kinda typical…i just got the B16A installed and i don’t know what’s wrong…my car won’t rev over 3000…well when it does…it’s cool then once the idle begins to drop to about 2000 rpm…i press on the gas again and nothing happens…there is a little oil in the second spark plug…at first, there was a leak in the valve cover gasket, then i took it back to the shop…picked it up today and drove it home (about 30 miles) and it was perfectly fine…then about 30 mins later i was heading out to the store and it just happens…so i don’t know…please help thanks

no. the engine light is not on…
It might be the distributor…
hum… maybe…i mean there are a lot of possibilities…i just did a whole tune up rite now…spark plugs, wires, oil, oil filter, air filter, basically everything but i still don’t know…damn im so frustrated right now. i mean i can always take it back to the shop but it’s such a hassle to tow it cause it’s not even running…

same problem here.kind of. just did ls/vtec, wont rev past 3k. hits like a sort of rev limiter. when you peg the gas quickly, it sputters a little. getting a #4 code on ecu as well. crank angle sensor i beleive. any ideas???

^ same problem happened to me, it was the distributor. The little red plug on my MSD cap fell off and ate up the teeth on my distrtibutor. You probably need a new sub-assembly.
