Thought my rear shocks blew, replaced with kyb gr2and stock 88-91 civic springs…car is sitting on tires in rear and about an inch from stock in front. The old rear shocks were an inch above tires. What is going on???
Guessing that you have a set of DC/EG rear shocks which are shorter
It could be the springs. They were originally designed for the civic which is a lighter vehicle. The DA is heavier so the springs would compress more.

Would be easier to help with some more info on your setup… maybe some photos of your suspension problem? 
Maybe some of those rubber spring-inserts from pep boys/autozone/kragen can fix your rear-shock issue for cheap til you can replace the rear springs?
