so today I was bored and decided to clear my 92 taillights. I took them out and read the how to, then realized I needed a pair of 90-91 taillgihts as well, which I dont have. I did read that the amber does come out when you take apart the taillights. Would this clear them out? If not, is there a way to clear out 92-93 taillights?

now is it screwed in like the foglight covers or do I have to break it out?
I think you break it out. You will get a smoky clear look, not shiny or whitish. If you want that, get reflective (mirror or chrome) tape & cut to fit. A member on here did it. it looks good in person.

is there ANY possible way anyone knows of to clear the orange without taking the whole tail apart?
Don’t think you can.
You cant.
You have to take it apart, The amber is actually a piece of plastic in the lens.
You have to heat up the tail lights in the oven, Pry it apart, and remove the orange piece.
It’s quite a bitch, But when completed you get a AUTHENTIC clear finish, Not the white stripe crap on the 90-91’s.
