my clutch is wearing out fast, especially when I shift at higher rpm. Anyways I want to know whether I need a complete clutch kit or just a clutch plate or disc. I am short on cash and can’t possibly afford an aftermarket kit, so what should I do???
its best to get the pressure plate, disk, and the definitely the bearings.
really an aftermarket kit isn’t gonna be that much more than a stock one (and upgrading would really be a good idea if you plan on modding your engine more later).
you should maybe look into getting an exedy clutch. at www.clutchcityonline.com you can pick up an exedy organic clutch for $290 (90-91) or for $260 (92-93) shipped.
The problem is labor cost. I can’t do much except fill the gas and race. So the whole kit is going to be a burden. Thanks for the advice.
