I’m referring to the portion of the fuse panel that the 40a attachs to. If you remove the bottom screw there is a copper plate there which is or is not permately attached to the fuse panel. Whichever the case, I broke it. It just snapped right off. The bolt is exposed. I am wanting to know if I can take this apart and replace this copper piece or solder it or do I need to replace the whole fuse panel. Anyone?
Is the screw stuck in there, as in it broke in half, or is it just stripped in there? From the pics and your sayin it stuck in there it must be strip in there. If its strip in there get a flat-head and pry it out while tryin to screw it out. But if it broke in half w/threads sticking out get a piler or vice-grip and turn it out, if no thread stickin out then try a reverse tap to take it out.
If none of those works or is not the solution then get a new fuse box. GL.
That is not a pic of mine. I just took used that to show which one I am referring to. The screw is out. but there is a bolt under it that sits on a very small copper plate. The plate has been cracked.
