I just got my one-piece lights today but they didnt come with the bottom brackets. What should I do, is there a way to mount them without those… i dont want them to be bouncing around.
Thanks
don’t worry about it. the jdm lights just have three bolts on the top. tighten them down and they won’t bounce
Use the brackets off the usdm ones…
dont worry about them…you dont need them and from what i hear is that the usdm ones dont fit…all i have holding mine on are the top three and they dont shake or anything
there should be a black piece attached to the 1 piece all u need to do is use the bottom half of the original usdm bracket and attach it to the top black piece u have, and if u don’t have the black piece either, i believe u can use the usdm both pieces i mean, but i think u need to do something, but not sure
you dont have to use the bottom brackets. the top ones are fine enough if you tighten them good. mostly the bottoms ones make it harder for people to steal your JDMS. Anyone can brake your window and pop open your hood and unbolt them or they just brake them…from what i heard it has been done. Mine came with the bottom brakets so i dotn know how to use the usdm ones. however i have some friends who have used the usdm ones and it takes a little bit of fabrication but im not sure on details. But from most people i know who have JDM’s the 3 top brakets are fine.
