Any help would be appreciated… my car has a hesitation when it’s cold at exactly 2000 RPM. Spark plugs are clean no oil on them, timing is correct and a new oxygen sensor.
Yeah that would be great… it only does it when the engine is cold and only for about 30 seconds of driving after startup. Yes it kind of feels like it’s running out of gas, sort of…
It’s so minor it’s almost not even worrying about… I wondered if the cams had anything to do with it
I had same problem with my mazda 323, i check everything, spark plugs and everything… then i asked a mecanic…
My problem was only happening when engine was cold, cause i had a lil ‘crack’ in my headers ( where they connect to the engine) … when engine warmup, the metal take some expension, so it stop.
But thing is that lil crack can get bigger, and ure problem can get worst…
Better fix it when crack is small… so you dont have to change the hole part!
My car stutters a little when I’m shifting. 1st and 2nd gear, mostly. And yeah, mostly when it’s cold… even tho it’s 90 degrees outside.
I don’t have a header.
I just had 120k service, and timing belt / water pump.
That was one reason I took it in for the service. It didn’t take care of it.
Not sure if I need to worry about this or what.
