ok so i installed some Ebay one piece headlights on my 90’ Ls. and ever since then my hi beam light has been on. like when i turn my corner lights on my hi beam light comes on
can anyone help me with this? :uhoh:

search 9004 to 9007 conversion or something along that line. i had this problem until i rewired them

X2…if they are the black housing ones, they come wired for 9007 (it’s stamped on the headlight). just swap a couple of wires and you should be good to go
or check if you have your wiring correct.
i.e. - the wiring to each side headlight, if you had to tamper with the plug to rewire it, sometimes if one side is wired correctly, but the other has the high beam/low beam switched, but ground is still correct, it would cause the high beam signal light on the gauge cluster illuminate.
i think that was one of my problems before, sorry if im wrong, but if you did take wiring apart, double check with a volt meter, or a test light to double check correct wires are to the correct terminals of the plug to the light bulbs.
