I haven’t really looked into it much, but i figure what the hell. . . what’s a good kit for the price?
and i don’t want any of that bullshit that will go out on me. . .i guess i’m just tired of replacing silverstars and i figure i’ll just get hid’s

the thing is with aftermarket kits, its hard to tell if they are quality kits.
A lot of the aftermarket kits you see that aren’t made by OE manufacturers dont last very long, varying from a few months to a little over a year. If you can source a ballast from a car that has factory HID then I think that would be a safer bet. If you get an aftermarket plug n play kit and the bulb goes out after a year, you’re better off replacing the silverstars instead of paying 100+ for bulbs that last at best for a ~year (why a lot of HID kits come with only a 1 year warranty–if they even honor it…) I’ve been researching a lot here an on h-t just recently, deciding whether or not i should go HID or just stay halogen. I learned a lot. Don’t forget with an HID kit, unless you get the dual beam version (H/L) you’re losing high beams and “flash-to-pass”, which do in occasion come in handy in situations other than just seeing better at night.
it’s up to you. Just some friendly advice.
before i changed my mind, i was considering the Xenith Xenon kit on h-t.
