high beam indicator problem

So one of my JDM lights got backed into a while ago and I had throw some usdm lights back on. When I first put them back on I wired up the stock 9004 bulbs again, but used silvertars this time. I was a dumbass though and wired the low and high beam backwards so the high beam indicator was always on when the low beams were on and off when the high beams were on. So one of my 9004’s blew on me the other day and I decided to throw some 9007 Silverstars in this time since the car is already wired up correctly for them. So when I put the 9007’s in the low beams are low beams and high beams are high beams, but my high beam indicator is always on. When I have low beams on it is barely lit, but visible at night. And then when I switch to high beams it lights up normally.

So what the hell is going on? Ive never had this problem before in the 2 years or so I had my lights wired backwards. But now when I throw 9007’s in it is giving me problems. Didn’t touch any wiring or anything, just unplugged the 9004 and plugged in the 9007’s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

anyone?

still sounds like you may have the wiring screwed up…check and double check both sides…make sre that if your running the 9007 bulbs you have the two wires switched the way they should be…the high beam indicator light being on all the time sounds exactly like when people are completely stock and throw on the ebay one peicers and put 9007 bulbs on the stock 9004 setup without switching the two wires…

look up 9004 to 9007 conversion if you dnt know what iam talking about

why not just run h4h bulbs in your one pieces like they are made for? but yeah i’d double check your wiring and make sure your not getting any shorts or cross over voltage that may cause it to feed back some amount of current to the high beam circuit.

I don’t have one pieces any more, just stock usdm lights. That’s why I had to rewire them for the stock 9004 bulbs again.

So can anyone tell me what the proper wiring for 9007 bulbs is? I tried searching but nothing helped. My problem is I have after market harness now and I have no idea what wires are supposed to be connected to what. I obviously had them wired wrong with 9004’s so the standard swap this wire and this wire posts don’t help me.

So if your looking at the plug with the flat top facing up my left wire is black, center wire is white, and my right wire is blue. So could someone please tell me what wires these need to be hooked up to on the driver and passenger side for the 9007’s to work correctly?

Can someone who has done the 9007 conversion please take a look at their harnesses and let me know. It will only take 2 seconds.
