what do you guys think would be a better foundation to start of with for a nice n/a strret motor. b18a/b with either pr3 or p30 b16 pistons which would raise compression or a b20b/z. sucks they don’t have any factory high compression pistons for the b20( like 11.0:1 or something) so i can’t decide which would be better for a mild street n/a build.
well if u can get a B20 ill go with that, ull love the torque. But i was under the impression that all B-series Pistons would fit a B20
b20z. you wont regret it. I have a b20z with I/H/E, light weight flywheel, blox intake manifold, stage 2 clutch… and it is amazing. the power jump from a b18a to the b20z was night and day. My friends actually LIKE riding in my car now.

there is a big difference. “feels like it” from the b20z2 compared to the stock ls
B20’s are the best, I wouldn’t have my car any other way.
And no, not all B-series pistons would fit a B20. B20 has 84mm pistons whereas all other B-series have 81mm pistons.
