Anybody have experiences with these? Do they really increase performance that much and do they smog legal? (I live in smog unfriendly California)
i have a catco cat from summit and it works great…is smog friendly…will pass smog, since it passed deq here in oregon
Be aware bro…here in cali, if you get caught with aftermarket Cat…you get fined big time…and also we got way tooo strict smog test…oh yeah…i got a focuz one …
dude i lived in so-cal for 14 years and trust me…oregon has way more stricter emissions test…here they actually put your car on the dyno…you drive up,they scan your car(the vin on the inside of the driverside door) they then drive your car on the dyno and test it out…state employees…no way of getting away with paying someone to pass you…

it is free until you pass then about 50-80 dollars for 2 years
that is the only good thing about oregon’s emssions…the 2 year tag…
