ya so… i was sitting inside, i hear a loud sound.
figured someone hit the bump in the driveway too fast.
no, someone hit my wifes car, then mine, then the neighbors.
wifes car is fine, just need to throw some paint on the bumper.
car that hit us was a metallic type silver car, from the parts found it looks like they lost most of a fender, part of their left front bumper, and some hard plastic from behind the fender/bumper.
only one piece had numbers on it, looked like an air filter box or something.
SAE PR-GF30 382687 the reflector that was left at the scene had CC and the little dodge/chrysler pentagon looking star symbol.
if someone has access and can figure out what car it came from please do, google didn’t turn up anything.
anyone have a spare bumper, with lights for license plate, that will fit a 92 ls?
seems like all the metal is fine and most of the screws, just the outer plastic is trashed.
I don’t care what color i just don’t have very much money because I’m still not working full time. the local places have some junked tegs but most were rear ended or already picked apart.

seriously broke, not even going to the dmv for a new plate… i flattened it out and im going to use some metallic green nail polish to repaint the numbers.
that sucks…Try calling your local Chrysler dealership with the part number(or whatever that number might be) LOL… and see if they can tell you what it came from. They should have access to that information…good luck!
Damn that fucker that hit your car… I know how you feel man thats why i took whatever i had left and left FL. My parents are strugging to keeping there house… It is very tuff down there… Do you have insurance on your car? If so why not give em a ring and have them take care of your damages? Im pretty sure it wont effect your rates since its not your fault…
the car was allready pretty dented and shit, bad paint job, etc. so i only had liability on it.
it is pretty tough down here, and being a felon doesnt help my chances any with the job scene. with so many schools around here with students to pick over me its even worse.
yup. but whoever had it before me hit a post or something in the front. instead of fixing it properly they adjusted the headlights, replaced the passenger side fender with a white one, and repainted the whole thing 2 coats of black with no clear. between the coats i think a cat walked across the hood… i can barely see some paw prints through the paint.
the whole car is pretty beat up, sort of why i like it. no need to worry about dings and little shit like someone taking off my bumper. :rolleyes: what a douchebag… he better hope i dont find him & his car before the cops do, or fines & jail will be the least of his worries. it’s the principal of the thing, and my lack of money doesnt help.
i guess the good news is that everything under the bumper with exception of the license plate lights is good to go.
going to need new plastic, 2 new lights, 2 new brackets for the license plate.
if i can get my hands on the whole bumper with everything, including the metal part, i will just do that. install will be easier and the bumper metal is rusted pretty good from the previously leaky tail lights & sunroof drains.
it hasnt had a good wash in a long time, it needs a buff something serious, and it is wet from rain and road spray.
otherwise not bad. got the mudflaps on tonight too.
