Anybody know what can be a good culprit to oil leaking near the shifter linkage near the tranny. It’s in that general location. I don’t see any oil leaking from the oil pan gasket. Nor the head…what else??
I’ve cleaned out the bottom in that area and going to see if i can pinpoint it closer…but any suggestions or ideas?
Isn’t there a seal where the linkage goes in???
Maybe check ur tranny drain plug as well:D
what color is the fluid leaking?

Well, its leaking out motor oil. I’m also thinking its the rear main seal. Can’t believe a 96 b20 would leak a rear main seal so soon… Fawk…I’ll keep diggin through it…
