Is there anyway to get a higher redline? Is that controlled by the chip in the car?

yes. the ecu is responsible for that. make sure you got the appropriate valvetrain mods for the higher redline, though.

i’m thinking if you don’t know what you need for a 10k redline, it’s best to stick with stock redline for a while and do more research on what it is you’re looking to do with your car. don’t take this as an insult in any way, it’s just sound advice.
