hold on what the fu???

when i turn my steering wheel i get what sounds like a grinding steel sound and my friends think its my control arm. They said because i lowered my car with eibach sportsline springs and those springs are soft they caused this to happen. This noise isn’t there all the time though, so i don’t know what to think. Also when i drive my steering wheel shakes(not the car) and stops when i accellerate.I just bought 4 new kuhmo 712 so i don’t think its the tires. Also i felt this kind of shaking before but that was in the winter when snow was inside where my tires are so i am just confused as to what is causing this.Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance

search. alignment, wheel balance. if it grinds during full turns its probably the cv going.

It’s not because you’re lowered… I was lowered on Eibach Sportline and the front coils were cut, I was dropped 3" and never got anything rubbing or grinding…

o.k than answer tht’s cool. Now i also had an alignment done and they corrected my toe.But my steering wheel still shakes(not the car).It doesn’t vibrate but shakes back and forth lke something is stuck in the wheel or something. It’s just confusing because it doesn’t shake all the time. It’s really satrting to piss me off not to mention my mechanic wants $300 to change my back bushings because they’re squeeking too.My car drives really good, i mean really good other than the bushings and the front shaking

So you’re saying your steering wheel shakes almost all the time and stops shaking when you accelerate?

Go back where you had them installed and tell them your car shakes, they’ll check them for free…
