i have 3 that i know of. One connection point of muffler and pipe, and 2 in pipes near back of car.
Are holes hurting performance or the engine?
How do i fix it w/o buying new pipes?
I need help it sounds horrible.
TIA

You have a little less back pressure but Im not sure if it will hurt your motor though. I know my buddy had a d16 sohc with a straight pipe and eventually he burnt a vavle but who knows…
weld it
problem fixed
i just took a lot of aluminum foil and made a long stip. then wrapped aroung hole. put a little steel epoxy on it then wrap a hose clamp on it.![]()
lets see how long it lasts
and to the person who said weld it, can u explain what u mean?
weld a piece of metel on top of hole?
Nothing short of replacing that pipe will work … all the temporary fixes do not last long at all … just get that section replaced … shouldn’t cost too much.
i had a hole in my exaust that i needed to fix before i got it inspected, so i just bought some of that muffler tape and wrapped it on there. the tape melts onto the pipe. it passed inspection and the tape is still holding.
