Anyone using this air compressor filter setup?
What filter/media are you using?
I’ve heard Stainless steel wool works better than steel wool.
Still piecing my setup together while Googling other threads.
Anything else?

honestly I think its to small and for almost the same price or a lil more uou can get a no name ebay really cheap. Ive seen them go for like $30
Have any experience with the eBay ones?
Ebay ones are a decent box and that is all. If you want a baffled catch can you can make it for cheap. Its not fancy but it works.
From my research when I built mine, you want the stainless as the non stainless can break apart and go into your engine when its pulling vacuum and will also start to rust etc due to moisture.
I made a couple of catch cans, details are in my build thread. They are ghetto style, but they work just fine and do what they are supposed to do. I got the cans off Ebay for cheap, ordered K&N filters off Ebay for cheap. I’ll get the part number, as this guys ad was hard to find but more than half price from anywhere on the net. Don’t mind the soldering, looks ugly but works.
If there are too many pics say something and I’ll remove them. Both cans are ebay cheapies.

How it will sit
Where the holes for the filter will go, baffling will go halfway down with these as well.
Holes drilled.
Baffled can 1 done! I will cover the solder with Hondabond later.
Finished, just needs Hondabond up top and a filter.
Finished. People like writing on my car don’t mind it lol.
