Hey crew, I am new to the site and I am already loving it. I have learned alot so far but I am working out what I should do to my teg atm and have a few questions about the interior of my 1990 LS
This is my car atm
I am thinking about going black and silver or silver and blue. here are 2 pictures that I found of other guys that have done there cars and they rock the plannet. would really like to get black and silver setup the the 1st picture and need some help with what are good paints and how to go about adding leather and turning my car from it’s current blue to black and silver. Have a look and tell me what you think about it and get back to me about it.

I hope you guys can help me and tell me if i should slowly do it myself of just take it and get it done by PRO’s for a llittle bit more $$$ then what i could do it for.
what color is your exterior? here’s a pic of my interior i did myself using krylon paint. im re-doing it though and using clear coat on top of it. I used dupli-color at first and then re-did it with krylon. i like krylon better i guess i dunno.
I think small ammounts of painting look good - the car with the RSX seats looks nice. My old car started life with the interior all one color, and it looked a lot better with a few of the trim pieces painted charcoal. I don’t like the interiors with lots of stuff painted very much.
If you have a blue interior and want to switch to black, the best way is probably to replace stuff instead of painting it. If you want leather seats it is probably easier to have someone reupholser your stock seats than to find someone selling leathers down there. Or you could get aftermarket seats. The carpet and soft parts of the dashboard can be painted, but I’m not sure how it would hold up to everyday use. The hard plastic can be painted with regular auto spray cans - that is how I did my old car and it was fine for years.
Yer ok thanks for getting the names of the chairs. i am going 2 look into getting some. with the back seats I am going to get leather put on them I can get it done for $200 but i need to by the cow skins in the same color as the front leather seats and same quiltiy of leather. I might work on my center console after I complete this and try and make it silver and get new gear stick, handbrak and get the carpet up and change it to a nice black in the car. mainly want to get everything from that stock blue and make it black. I was thinking about putting check plated steal in the bottom of the car but it would be to hard 2 clean and sometimes doesn’t look to good.
If any of u guys have any idea’s for the material that was used on the side dores of the top picture please let me no because i will need to get that material to replace the current blue checked one that i currently have atm.

Some Integras that came with leather also had leather on the door panels in the places where cars with cloth seats have cloth. There is a teg tip somewhere on replacing the cloth with something else (think the tip used vinyl, but leather or other cloth should work.)
of course there are some jap imports with zc’s and b16’s… but all real aussie ones were b18a
