is there anything just as good to use that isn’t quite as expensive or as hard to come by?
I live by a product called The Right Stuff, its made by permatex. You can get if from most auto parts stores and I think its cheaper too. Besides its the only stuff that keeps Land Rovers from leaking… And thats saying alot! I use it on everything.
Nissan’s shit works great, but I’m not sure about the price (I always get it at a discount).
anyone ever use automotive goop? i had a blown head gasket on my 1990 cutlass supreme it kept my car going all winter by just spreading it on where oil was coming out
lmfao!!!
Hondabond is like $15 for a tube at the local Honda dealer here. How much are they asking where you live?
Hondabond is the only thing that will keep a honda tranny from leaking.
hondabond :owned: all
permetex ultra grey is pretty much the same…
little more goopy i think but thats about it i always do oilpans/trannys with it… even my turbo lines are gunna be converted from teflon to ultra grey
You guys think honda actually makes that shit? No, they buy the permetex and put their name on it.
I go by nothing but hondabond. Its not that expensive. Then again I work for honda though.
you suck B :hump:
just about every overhaul they include a tube of honda-bond soo if u work for em u got a endless supply

Hondabond is the grey shit, correct? Take a look at GM Silicone Adhesive some time and tell me that it’s not the same shit.
