ugh that’s not good… i don’t suppose you had pics of your install
how does it make the hood sit up in the rear? from what little i can see in the ebay pics, it bolts to the last point on the hinges, and the other is to the fender?

I didnt take pics, the bolt replaces the middle bolt on the fender.
It sits up, because they are to big.
the reason i’m asking is because i have the same set as yours. i too was not able to close the hood with the shocks installed. i even asked my acura service dept. to give it a try and they couldn’t make it work either, “without substantial modification”, they told me, along with the usual spiel regarding non-oem parts being unsafe and not fitting properly.
i had also contacted the ebay seller about this, but the response i got back was to a)follow the instructions, and b)take pictures of the mounting brackets… both the service tech and i did (a), but i didn’t do (b) and i don’t want to put them back on again because it was such a bitch to install and i had to take them off the first time because i couldn’t drive around with a half open hood.
I was curious about using the EFs made by Redline-tuning, I know a guy with them on his EF. They mount with rivets, on the shock tower.
