Hey guys, I just got my integra (1993) last sunday, and today all of a sudden when i go to pop open the hood to adjust the idle, the hood release doesn’t work anymore. I have opened the hood a few times before, and never felt anything weird. Any clue on how i can fix that and be able to work on my engine?
I don’t exactly want to go to an acura dealership to get it fixed because they will charge me.

The cable that pops your hood has a clip up near the latch in the front of the car. That little clip broke… It happens on occasion.
What you need to do is jack up the front of your car so you can get under the front of it. Remove your splashguards so you can reach up to where the hood latch is. When you get your arm up there you should feel the cable. Just pull on the cable until the hood pops and you can use a zip tie, or whatever you want, to fix it.
